Brad Jarrett has honed his technical and design skills for over 35 years, beginning in the early years of high school. Mr. Jarrett’s love for electronics began before high school and has continued to this day. During these years, Mr. Jarrett also excelled in product design and sales in the Point of Sale (POS) industry, leading one major company to $14 million dollars in growth over just a year and half as both product design specialist and major account sales manager, while winning numerous awards from product design to sales excellence. Mr. Jarrett currently owns two patents for anti-shoplifting devices and a gunshot detection solution.
Mr. Jarrett received specialized training at Sharp Electronics Technical School, namely board and circuit design, systems and network design and board level troubleshooting. While earning his certificate, he designed alarm systems for homes and small business. Eventually his design and troubleshooting ability led him into the POS industry in which he spent 14 years as a technician and 15 years in sales and product design.
Mr. Jarrett currently utilizes his training to grow his own company designing board and systems hardware, software development (C#.net, C++, asp.net and .asp, HTML, HTML5, php, and SQL database design). Mr. Jarrett is a strong advocate for self-discipline, hard work and using creativity every day to help others and to grow his company while focusing on current events to expand his technology.
Mr. Jarrett’s professional current focus is on developing ‘Actionable Intelligence’ by utilizing gunshot detection and/or alarm data. He also utilizes unharvested data from POS to help First Responders respond quicker while minimalizing harm to themselves and others.
Mr. Jarrett’s current projects include developing the ALETS (Actionable Law Enforcement Technology Software) with gunshot detection and notification and integrating 3D and wearables, IoT Technology, web design and control of the ALETS gunshot 360° detectors.
Mr. Jarrett served as CEO/CTO for ALETS, LLC. which has now merged with Active Guardian. His invention and technology were recently honored with the 2016 Pacesetter Award at RSPA and was featured on the front cover of the June 2016 Business Solutions Magazine for the patented-pending ALETS software and technology. Several other articles in other publications have featured the ALETS technology.
Mr. Jarrett is comfortable at a technical bench, a development computer or in front of a client or large audience speaking and educating others about the need for increased security technology and affordability.
